Oak Grove has been selected by the City of Detroit Health Department to be a "pop-up" vaccination site on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. The hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This COVID-19 vaccination location is for Oak Grove members and their families.
We do not know which brand of vaccine will be available. The medical team will provide that information.
In order to be vaccinated, each person must have an individual reservation. A questionnaire can be completed by more than one person on the same computer. Reservations are first come first serve. Once the 200 reservation spots are filled, names will be automatically moved to the standby list.
In the survey, you will be asked to select a reservation time. If the time you select is not available, you will receive a call from the Oak Grove staff who will let you know the available time slots from which you may select. Please allow 48 hours for a call back. Please note if the time you selected is available, you will not receive a call. When all of the time slots are filled, you will be added to the standby list. Persons on that list will be called the day of by the medical team if extra/additional doses are available.
To register, please send an email to info@oakgroveame.org. You will be sent the link to register. You must complete the registration process by Sunday, March 14, 2021. Consult the City of Detroit website for answers to questions that you may have about the vaccination process.
