Come Home for Christmas is an annual outreach and celebration. Each year members of Oak Grove volunteer to become disciples, each of whom covenants to meet a specific financial goal that assists in raising funds to underwrite all facets of the celebration. All donations are used to sponsor a variety of events including a shopping spree for families identified as disadvantage. On the second Saturday in December, donations are used to meet the needs of children and the elderly of the Metro Detroit Area by the giving of gifts to Angel Tree children, shopping extravaganza’s for families in need, sharing of food baskets, and other gifts specifically selected to meet the needs of our Seniors.
